New to Kontakt.

    Hi all, I have had the komplete 4 bundle for a while now and Kontakt is one of the programs I havnt really used.

    I really want to start sampling. Is this one of the best software samplers to use?

    Will probably have to get the tutorial DVD, depepnding if I upgrade to K5.

    It really is one of the top samplers in the world.

    The tutorial DVD is well worth it.

    I would consider Kontakt a sampler player. And to be more precise a GREAT SAMPLE PLAYA!:]

    You will learn to love K2 when you get into it. It is far better than, in most repects and my opinion, than some of the other sample players out there.

    The K2 tutorial is ok from what I have seen and heard of it, but reading the manual is priceless. And use the forum to find some hints, tips and such, thats the best tool Ni has provided for its users.

    yeah you really have to get into a metal box with 32 mb of RAM to have true sampling capability.
