    Hello everyone!

I'm new to the forum's and Traktor so thought i'd shoot you all a message and say what's up! First of all let me say I am very excited to be apart of the Traktor movement. I started my dj career in 2008 starting on vinyl, then moving to CDJ's and now Traktor. It's amazing how fast the industry moves.

Im mostly into tech house, techno, and minimal but I have a soft spot for Trance and progressive as well. I pretty much love all types of music minus crappy gangster rap, Mickey Mouse club celeberties and anything in the top 40 realm, and most of all country. If i were to have a living nightmare, it would be country music, miley cyrus, and Lil jon being invited to my birthday party.

So moving on with the digital set-up i just received my Audio 8 dj which i purchased after hearing about their summer sale promotion. The main reason i made the switch to digital was because i am sick of burning cd's and that i would get a free copy of Traktor Pro if i bought the sound card. Pretty good deal if you ask me.

As of right now though I am a little stuck on how to set everything up to my existing home studio. I am currently running the following system for production:

    - PC Desktop
    - Focusrite LE Sound Card
    - 2 KRK RPG 8's

    My question:

Is it possible to hook up the audio 8 DJ to the focus right sound card in order to get sound from my Traktor set up? or should I be pluging in the master out of the Audio 8 directly to the KRK speakers?

There is always a new learning curve, but I guess that's the reason I love DJ'ing. A constant drive to learn something new and advanced.

I am looking forward to being an active member of this community and look forward to my future endeavours with the Traktor family. Your help and posts are greatly appreciated.

    Markos

Master out of the Audio 8 DJ directly.

Adding another souncard will add latency and you will lose audio quality slightly
