They implemented my suggestion to keep the modes locked/pinned from the hardware. Now when you lock the pattern mode with button 1 for instance, it stays that way until you unlock it. I went ahead and locked all but duplicate, grid and solo.

    Thanks NI. ;)

No, it's different now. For instance, you can lock pattern mode now, switch to scene mode, lock that as well. now when you hit the pattern button. it's still locked.
so you can jump between locked modes and don't have to lock each mode again and again.

And they see these as minor, not worth mentioning? NI be crazy!

I've gotta say, this with the integration is excellent. Put your hands up if you like scrolling through banks of presets with a mouse when you're in the flow!

I'm quite happy with these new features. Snapping the end of notes was really needed.

    now for the next update:
    - renaming mapped AU parameters
    - multi-core
    - drag/copy midi notes off grid by holding SHIFT/CMD or whatever. Like Ableton Live does.
    - merging patterns

    :--D

are you for shure with snap note end to grid? Neither did I find out how to this, nor is it described in the manual.
    so please some clarification!

just drag the end of the note with your mouse. the note end will now snap to the chosen grid resolution. In previous versions, it would not.

select the notes with controller or mouse and simply hold shift and press pads 7/8 to nudge them, make sure the grid is off

also in step mode you can hold any note and use the swing knob to move notes

i suggest you take some time to read the manual to nail the basics
