    Anyone experiencing issues running this update on a MacBook ?

    My 2.2Ghz Macbook would definitely welcome multi-core support as you might guess.

    But I'm Kinda hesitating after reading all these negative comments.

    2.0.3 will still be on your hard drive, ready to go, just in case

    Are you guys on Sandy Bridge? I'm rocking a Sandy Bridge i7 and I'm thinking about trying this update, but I'm a little sketched out by all these complaints.

    Sorry for saying this but the update is real ****. Since updating one problem follows the next. Never had such trouble with TSP.
    Suddenly parts begin to loop without a loop set!
    Traktor jumps all the time into this secure mode (internal mode when the timecode signal is bad). The thing is that the signal is very nice all the time.
    In my case the volumes of the various tracks are much more diverse as before.
    I can not explain how all these issues have become problematic just because of the update. At the moment I wished I had all the tracks on vinyl instead of using this program.

    I am on a MBP 2.6 GHz, 8Gb RAM. A Pioneer DJM-900 and two Technics 1210 with Ortofon Concorde Night Clubs. One X1.

    Wuzzup? I have a Black Macbook core 2 duo 2.1gb w/2gb RAM. Upgraded to 2.1 and have had no issues. CPU load meter is slightly fuller than before. Never goes past half way though. I have use multi cores checked. Don't see any difference if I uncheck it. Used it at the club last night for 4 hours and no issues.

    Yup. I don't understand why this is so hard to get right... Was the "fix" to just fill in the blank with... anything? This is happening at all zoom sizes; click anywhere on the overview waveform, and the detail waveform will render properly from where you clicked - everything to the left is just a big blur. (See attachment)

    Edit: has anyone tried zooming in, and clicking "maximise"/"restore" window a couple of times? (Windows) Leaves a huge gap in the waveform... :confused:

    @spawklz

    I'll explain it again:

    ^^^
    ---
    Also, it doesn't say it is fixed:
    '- Readibility of waveform display, phase meter and level meter improved'

    @lethal_pizzle:

    OK? That's not mentioned in the manual, as far as I can tell, and the illustrations/screenshots in the manual certainly don't give me that impression - they look the way we want them to look. Have NI commented on this officially? IIRC, they actually said they'd fix this in some future version (specific, as per usual), and surely they know that the current behaviour is confusing.

    Ah and I forgot an other issue that I never had before. The BPM when loading a track is often played totally wrong. For example a track with a BPM of 121 is loaded and then is played by Traktor with a BPM of 92. This happend several times within one hour.
    Restarted all programs but this issue pops up all the time...
    Very annoying!

    Yes, in an 'On the record' session.

    edit: actually, no, not in an 'on the record' session. Somewhere else, by the looks of it. Can't be bothered to dig it out, but yes, they said they'd fix it, but it would require an extensive rethink and it wouldn't be anytime soon

    Installed update on my MacBook Pro (Intel) with non Lion OSX. No problems thus far, and the multi-core is an outstanding touch.

    if you don't try the update yourself, you will never know if it works well for you or not.
    In the worst case you can go back to 2.0.3

    S4 - now only a soundcard

    Cannot even test anything - since I upgraded to 2.1.1. my S4 can no more be seen by Traktor on my WIN7 Laptop. Spent hours with trying .. finally wanted to go back to 2.0.3, the 'knack' version.
    (my computer/program files/native instruments/traktor 2/backup/traktor 2.0.3) - and great ! Also there, my S4 is now only a simple 2 ch soundcard )) Is it broken ? Or must I re-install 2.0.3 completely ? Or any chance the S4 can be mapped on 2.1.1 ? These things went always automatically.. so i'm not such a mapping - specialist ... Need help!

    Ok...this was a user error on my part, I had changed my directories from te default locations. Did a 1.5 hours mix and no major issue. The headphone volume putting does not move with in traktor when I move it on the S4 but I can live with that. Louder headphone volume would be nice.

    But over all works fine so far.
