in the PLAYER module in spektral delay, i am unable to open any sound files for processing.

i have tried AIFFs and WAVs...all of the audio files on my HD are greyed out when i try to open them

also, when i try to open presets, or load presets, all of the preset files are greyed out as well.

lastly.. when i load Digital Performer, DP scans spektral delay during the audio unit scan, but the INITIALIZING step is just frozen. i hit "skip for now".. but of course then it doesn't show up in DP's effect menus.

so, basically, this has been extremely buggy so far.. maybe i should try to reinstall..

    anyone else having these problems?

Hmmm...I know for me on OS9 the "initializing" the first time took a really long time as it scanned all my disk files or something (and it seemed like a crash). Sorry I'm not a real tech support guy but maybe let the freeze hang for 5 minutes and see if it is doing that. Maybe that's why the files are greyed out too cause this big first scan hasn't happened.

If I'm totally full of it here hopefully Marius or someone will chime in... ; )

yeah, maybe i wasn' t patient enough on on the Audio Unit scan. i'll try again and go have lunch.

still can't get the standalone SD to open any audio files...

ok.. it passed the AU scan test now.. only took like 5 seconds this time.. weird..

but upon loading digital performer now, i keep getting an error from Spektral Delay that it can't find the DEF file....

there are 2 files in my PRESETS folder in spektral delay .. one called def.aif and one called def.sdb

    where should these be??

fortunately, DP still recognizes spektral delay... but i do want those warning boxes to stop popping up every time i load DP..

same for me in cubase sx2. it keeps asking for the def file everytime when loaded as a plugin but everything works fine then anyway. not a biggy though but a bit annoying....
