    Hello,

I bought a set of new timecode vinyls, they are skipping very easily.
It seems that the grooves are not deep enough.
I have to feather handle the turntables or they will skip, it is messing with my flow.
If i use the old vinyl this doesn't happen, but they have some big scratches on them.

    Anyone else have this problem?

I'm having exactly the same issue. Though I don't have any experience with old timecode vinyl, my regular vinyls play just fine, but the timecode vinyls skip like crazy.

The holes in the vinyl are too big, that's why it skips so much. Put a piece of tape through the hole to make it fit better.

You're right about the holes, thanks, I'll try that. But I think the main problem is grooves are not deep enough or something. It skips when I press buttons on a controller without even touching the vinyl. Does not happen with regular vinyls. I can probably add more weight to the needle to fix this, but it'd be bothersome to tinker with the weights back and forth when I switch timecode and regular vinyls.

So the timecode vinyl that is sold separately is of lower quality than what the timecode that comes with at the Z2 or A6 ?

I was just about to order some white ones. Nothing wrong with my original ones but liked the white look but if they don't perform as well i don't want to spend the money on them just to get the color.

I'm actually using stock A6 ones.
