Newbie help - I'm a bit lost

Hi folks. I recently purchased Komplete Ultimate. I'm a bit confused with Kontakt. Firstly, can anyone point me to some good basic tutorials to get me going? I.E how the interface works, workflow, basic operation etc? One thing that is throwing me off is switching between presets in an instrument - I see you can arrow left to right to load the next instrument - but is there not a dropdown you can choose a patch from as opposed to just going left to right and just loading the next patch in the list? I hit the dropdown but it's empty. Clearly I'm missing something. I basically need a 101 with Kontakt. Any help much appreciated. Thank you!

 

Hello Aaron Penton and welcome to the forum.

You are right: those arrow keys load the next / previous instrument. You can load others directly from the Browser. That drop-down list is (I guess) the Quick-Load list.
