    hey all...
    just picked up the Elektrik Piano today and can't get it to recognize my controller. All of my other midi based plug-ins open right up and start but it's not reciveing anything. I have my midi channel on the EP set to 1 as is my controller. I am not totally versed on MIDI so any help would be great!

    Is EP seeing your controller and playing ok standalone ?

    If it isn't, is your controller showing in EP's standalone 'File>Setup:Midi Tab', and if yes is it ticked to be active ?

    Haven't used Pro Tools for an age, but with DP the above option isn't available when using EP (or any Virtual Instruments) as a plug, since the DAW handles all the Midi input, but you do of course need a midi track record enabled (or monitor enabled) and pointing to the EP VI track in order to hear your playing. Are you saying other VIs/Samplers are receiving midi within Pro Tools ok and it's just EP that's giving you a problem ?
