How can i be sure that the thin white lines are correct in the whole track?

Most of the time it's just correct on the first couple of beats.

    And then i don't get a nice sync/phase match. It's awful:eek:

    Thanks

Either the BPM is off or it's not a consistant tempo (in the case of a live drummer)

Then, try to change the BPM and see if it lines up better further down. Rainer has a great tutorial on this that he posted a link to.
Traktor will get it right most of the time with house, but occasionally the BPM calculation is off enough to cause an inaccurate grid. You can expand and shrink the grid in the grid tab.

    great work.

ive recently ripped all my old 92/93 drum n bass / hardcore and Traktor has a fit trying to grid it.

This is invaluable information - thankyou so much.
