NI Audio Interface with Kontrol S4 Software

    Hey Guys.

    is it possible to connect an Audio Interface with my Laptop and run Traktor normally to play with it, even if i just have my S4 Software?
    Cause at each update you get all the drivers...

    So my question is, if it is possible to use maybe an Audio 6 Interface with my Traktor S4 Software (Traktor Scratch Pro) or do i have to buy a new version of Traktor?

    Doesn't the S4 come with traktor pro 2?

    I run my S2 with my audio 8 no worries, if that helps.

    I Want to run my Traktor Software without S4 but with Audio 6/10 and timecode.. does this work?

    If you have timecode with your s4 then yeah it will work. I take it you have traktor scratch?

    Yes i have the Scratch Pro Upgrade.. but on the box where the Scratch Pro Software S4 where in, it is written that it only works with the S4..

    Was it the original s4 version that was replaced with traktor 2?

    original version was Traktor Pro S4..
    upgrade to Traktor Pro 2
    then upgrade kit to Traktor Scratch Pro 2

    then it should work without the controller or with any traktor suitable controller. The original s4 software probably only worked with an s4 controller, with traktor 2 it will work with anything

    The answer is yes. Your software will work without the S4 Kontroller.
    You can use any soundcard for Midi control but must use an NI soundcard to use timecode.
