Even though I need a new keyboard like I need a hole in the head. A proper 88 key wheighted kk keyboard would make my fingers itch. ;)

Those may be valid improvements however certain features have been requested for 5 years; the chords, scales and arp requests dont go back 5 years.

so NI at the very least need to improve prioritization of the implementation of feature requests.

Couldn't agree more. I really hope they make an 88 Key KK and also hope they do a number on it. Like, having faders as well as knobs. Make it as a proper work station/Master Keyboard kind of thing. What would be amazing is if they sold a double keyboard One 88 Key Fully Weighted and then a 61 Key Synth Action Keyboard above it but hey, that's just dreaming out loud and I think people would cry at how much something like that would cost! :)

^^^All at the expense of Maschine users that have supported Maschine from day one never seeing the beat machine sampler/sequencer finished to an acceptable level. Still really awkward to do a start to finished composition on Mashcine. A big no no on a device like this that is supposed to totally kick ass at the hands on sequencing workflow. Total fail.

I can't imagine ever writing Music in Maschine. I use Cubase Pro 8 amongst other things. I'm sure owning the Maschine Hardware is great for Beat creation but saying that, I own a Roland Electronic V Kit. Much better than a Drum Pad/Machine especially for feel and dynamics. Each to their own obviously. I have wondered what using the Maschine Hardware with the Kontrol S is like. Pretty slick I imagine.

    Sure they do http://www.native-instruments.com/forum/threads/arpeggiator.81582/#post-500057

This feature was a no brainer as soon as Komplete Kontrol came around - 'low hanging fruit'

Agreed that NI need to focus on core beatbox and sequencer features though.

Did you forget how to count to 12? Or never learn in the first place? I'll do the math for you: there are SEVEN months left in which announcements could be made. That's like, I dunno, quite a lot of time.

after summer (september/ october) there will be Traktor pro 3.0 with integrated maschine
Also there will be a Maschine MK3

off course no new products these time of the year. In the summer, people spend their money on holidays and drinks. Only sales will motivate them. NI does the same trick every year.

    cheers

Or maybe a Maschine with integrated Traktor Pro ;).

    The Maschtor...

(Did you hear about the one about Dire Straights and Chris Rea getting together, they aren't going to call it Chris Straights).

Your probably not far off. The big things discussed are what we have already seen announced for KK with the new plugin standard and VST support. They also announced a new KK hardware is coming. I'm sure Traktor will likely be next. Pretty much working on everything but Maschine.

I hear that. Lately I just use maschine for drums and do the rest in Studio One 3. That's how good that DAW is imo. Hope to get a maschine update in the fall. A big update....

Say what now? Maschine is a "Total fail"? It's not "finished to an acceptable level"? Why are you a mod here again?

Speak for yourself. Many people do find Maschine to have a totally kick ass hands on sequencing workflow and don't find it awkward at all to do a start to finished composition.

If everything you do is loopdy loopdy loop loop without any full audio tracks on top like vocals, it's probably is a fine DAW. Try and do something like write traditional songs that have several odd "non standard" measures then it's not great.

I'm forcing myself do a single complex song start to finish standalone just to make sure I'm not missing anything, but to be honest I can't wait to get back to my DAW.

NI plugins are also better off on my DAW as well and not through Maschine. Performance is better.

Maschine is a pattern sequencer and sketchbook trying to be a DAW, and a live instrument, a real DAW though it ain't.... Sorry.

Ever wonder if the path of Maschine is as a plug in and stand alone support will dwindle over time? I do wonder this at times. Funny as I still have not used it as a plug in, standalone is the benefit to me. I would also be ok with it as a plugin only if it was truly standalone as in needing no computer run but having it all built in. Perhaps I am the odd guy out, wouldn't be the first time or the last. Like I have always said this is from a hack POV I am certainly no power user.

I see maschine is primarily standalone as it was intended to replace a standalone hardware groove box but with the added benefits of computer integration.

But NI seemed to be somewhere in between with their intent when first released imo.

But when the USERS kept saying 'u should add vst support so I can do my whole track in maschine' than NI realized how many peeps wanted to use the system stand alone and that is when maschine's success skyrocketed after 1.5 dropped.

fast forward to 2015 NI acting like we doing know what da fucc we talking about; and that they know best and will dish out whatever, becos u users dont know what u want so we will lead u in the direction that u should go. (that makes them the most cash)

"Its all about our ecosystem (say NI rep) and u should buy taktor, komplete and kontrol so it all links up; maschine users u just wait there while we develop our other products for u to buy, we'll throw u a few trinkets every couple of months to keep u children busy. "

No, he is speaking for the very vast majority of users..

If Maschine was as perfect as you say, then no way would NI management be front and center everywhere talking about Maschine improvements, "big things" and pre-selling 2.5..

You are a party of one and thankfully nobody at NI is listening to you.

lol skiz thinks when B makes a post on the forum that he's actually making a call to his personal phone line and talking about him.
Skiz nobody but you thinks that he is talking to you, everybody else knows you have no concept of what he's talking about in workflow or composition.
we know you're somewhere in the future using maschine 1.0 and loving it, don't worry the past is not even trying to catch up with you. btw , he's probably a mod because he's well rounded and because if you were the mod the forum would most likely be empty.
