NI Komplete 2 Logic Studio Apple G5

NI komplete 2 and Logic pro seem to be incompatible. Sad

I've installed NI Komplete 2, ran all the updates.

When I run Logic, it starts installing the AUs, a message appears telling me that FM7 could not be activated and I should check NI's site for updates.
THen it comes up with another screen saying someting like "installing AU 1 of 16" starting with Vokator, but it just hangs then, doesn't do anything until I press abort. Then it skips all the rest of them and only loads Logics native instruments and FX.

when I go to add an insert Reaktor 4 FX is there, and works, but Reaktor 4 instrument isn't there.

To top it all off, when I try to run Soundtrack pro it just hangs, the menu appears at the top of the screen, and they work, but when I try to open a project nothing happens.
It's very frustrating.

the real annoying thing is, they all work perfectly, 100% first time, every time, in Ableton Live.

anyone got any ideas?

are there issues with older NI AU's that I need to be aware of?
