    Hello everyone!
I recently added a "Resources" page to my web site, on which there is a list of many music software programs I have tested in Windows XP Professional 64-bit. I have a list of what works and doesn't work, as well as some 64-bit bugs that I've found.
I searched for a long time to find out what worked and what didn't before upgrading to 64-bit, but I found very little information on the subject, and most people on forums were just as curious as I was. So, after pioneering, I'd just like to share with you what I learned ... I hope you find it helpful!
    God bless,
    Alex

thanks, I see that some NI stuff still wont work, so I'll wait till 2008, 2009, 2010 2000 never for companies to get off their butts and properly support 64 bit. its a shame as ram is about $10/ gb these days.

Very good work, Alex ... I was thinking to upgrade to Win Xp 64 , but I guess I'll wait a little more .. It's so frustrating to work with only 3.5 gigs of ram ...

Thanks for the info, but there are several negative findings I can't
reproduce here; Sibelius 5 works fine, and so does the standalone versions of NI.

Like I said, this is my experience, and I'm glad to have helped. These issues to seem to vary from system to system, but I don't know what specific variables affect performance. I've heard of other people having no problem with Sibelius 5. And, like I said, my standalone versions of NI software work MOST of the time.

Also, I have found a new bug recently, and that's when running Kontakt 3 and the EWQL PLAY orchestra simultaneously in SONAR 7.02, the EWQL orchestra doesn't recognize keyswitches for some reason. It's bizarre. I've deactivated and deleted Kontakt, and it works fine. I have no idea what's causing this or how to fix it, but it's frustrating when trying to combine samplers/orchestras. I use Akoustik Piano with the EWQL SO and it works fine. So I don't know ... perhaps you won't have this issue either.

I'm glad that you're finding all this information useful! :)
