NI Survey ... waste of time

I was silly enough to spend half an hour completing NI's survey asking my opinion about their performance in 2012 (email sent out). When I press the 'submit' button it just wipes the page clean and submits nothing. I think that fairly reflects my impression of NI in 2012.

Not really innovative, but wanting to look like it. Wanting to appear to be listening but not really taking the trouble to actually hear.

Just completed the survey. Was just 4 question. When submitting the survey thanked me for improving guitar rig. There was no info at all that it was about guitar rig while I ranted about multicore support in Maschine.

Epic idea: hey guys, surveys are cool. Let's have one.

I managed to make a submission by copying everything into another browser. Like you, Karsten, and despite not mentioning Guitar Rig once, I was informed that I had made a contribution to the development of Guitar Rig. Good to know they're listening (despite not hearing what we say). Maybe they'll innovate things by nesting Maschine within Guitar Rig and (in turn) Komplete Ultimate inside Maschine.

Sounds like it's maybe a previous questionaire (for guitar rig) that they've maybe re-skinned then sent out but forgot to change the response page?

Oh dear. Thanks for the info. This is being sorted.

Perhaps we should commission a survey to gauge customer satisfaction with the survey.

A little hint for NI: a survey isn't really necessary. Just read the forums: a perfect reflection of reality and how customers see you. Enthusiam on updates, new expansions and products, criticism about things (still) not being implemented. That's how people see you. :)

    Forgive my sarcasm.

I actually produce weekly and monthly reports for everyone here. They summarise the sentiment found in the community and on social media that relates to our products, updates and campaigns. My masochistic side enjoys not sugarcoating anything too, so people are aware!

wrong... if half the stuff people were writing in their minds was put on this forum they would be banned and have so in the past...

the survey is a great thing as you can be basically as real as you want and it's going nowhere but to NI office... not out there to possibly reflect to the rest of the world and to "tarnish" a company's rep...

it's the way that certain people articulate their thinking is the problem and if banned then they pretty much knew they were going to be by writing whatever they did, unless of course they were so stupid they don't know the difference between right and wrong-

if there is an issue and it is raised in:

    1: the proper fashion

    2: the proper place

    3: without being totally offensive

Then I am sure there wouldn't be problems with having a strong opinion, too many people think they can enter a forum and just bang nonsense and abuse around and get away with it without taking into account the other users - the internet is a free place where you can say what you are like but you are in a public area and bad behaviour still has to be moderated - there are users out there that forget this...
    ---
FWIW - personally I am pleased as punch with NI this year and what they have done for me personally, I am being opened up yet again to being involved in creation and performing in ways I hadn't before.

I look forward to my next lurch into Traktor and bringing that into Maschine performances, hopefully that isn't too far away for me.

not at all... its the mods that create the issue....

look at the ren vs maschine thread...

no body was basically allowed to speak...

then when others came up they were just shut down and down and down...

that is the problem with the way the web works....

that's great for you some people dont wan't or didnt ever want maschine to be incorp into traktor the way it is, then you have the F1 controller you have a new mixer that is basically pads on the mixer. I mean when will this stop...

but thats why I wrote on the survey and that is why NI made the survey and you should know that...

and that is the end of my talk in here because it will go to a level that they deem "unacceptable"

there has been real no offensive stuff on this forum in the time I have watched it... afew obvious very trollish behaviour which those people have been removed, however when something tends to not agree with certain people and they have the power of the cohort the person making statements is always put to the bottom and dealt with... without just keeping the convo on track or sorting out the bad points....
    its very much like politics...

Why should they say anything before there is something to say?
