I think too many of us take these upgrades as givens and forget to thank these guys for all the hard work they put into them . They don't have to put everything we would like and ask for in upgrades but they do their best .

Thanks fella's ! Despite all the whining and nagging I really am happy you guys took your time to do 1.8 right . Thanks for all the upgrades and I look forward to what you have coming next .

Indeed... Simply : Thank you... It's always good to see a product bough 2 years ago being tuned and enriched.. for free... but there is a business model behind this : I continue to buy extension...or other stuffs

These updates are FREE, which is great. Even if the features each update aren't always what I want or need, the product keeps getting better for the same price - how many things can you say that about? FREE stuff is increasingly rare.

Some of you think these things are taking too long and have expressed impatience - consider that Maschine is an unprecedented product: you have software and hardware (and thus complex firmware) tightly coupled in a way that is pretty seamless and exciting. Every time I get irritated with something Maschine cannot do, I think back to how I felt that first week with it, and I just go around the limitation since its still the slickest rapid composition tool I know of. And for anything it cannot do, a keyboard, BCR2000 and a DAW can get it done.

    You can automate with macros.

So you didn't get AS MUCH free - big deal. How can people actually complain about these kinds of things? What kind of attitude is that?

Cool! So I can automate my hardware synths with Macros? Great! Why didn't I think of that?

    thanks NI

think if we never had the vst integration of a previous update i would never have bought komplete 8 ultimate for £300 as a crossgrade in the half price sale and im not gonna complain about getting another massive license or some of the other komplete effects as ive already saved thousands of £'s.

Big thank you for giving 1.8 to existing customers and not forcing us to upgrade to the Mk2 controller.

Have you all lost the plot? Its in NI's interest to do these updates! Its simple... listen to what people want and make the changes Its what i would expect a company like that to do to stay ahead!
