    Hi;
    I have 3 versions of Session Strings-Session Strings, Session Strings Pro and Session Strings Pro 2. I've recently purchased a new PC and found out how to transfer the NKI instrument files from Pro 2 to the new PC which includes my Rhythm Animator articulations and sounds. My question is can I do the same kind of transfer with the earlier versions of Sessions Strings. I have quite a few songs where I used each of those versions and would like to move the Rhythm Animator and sounds to the new PC as well. Thanks for any info you can give.

    You don't need to transfer the NKI patches themselves, since they are ingested in your DAW project as part of Kontakt's plugin data chunk. You just need to have the libraries installed.

    Thanks Dragon-I took notice to something that happens when I open the project that I created on the old system and after transferring to the new system. The DAW (Cakewalk) upon launch tells me that the instruments on that project were created using Kontact 5, where on the new system I'm running Kontakt 6. If I replace Kontakt 5 with Kontakt 6 then I lose the internal instrument (Session Strings) and have to replace it in the newly replaced Kontakt 6. So it doesn't work right. Is there a way I can replace Kontakt 5 with Kontakt 6 on my new system and still maintain the instrument (Session Strings)?
