    I've just designed a Massive presets library, in nmsv format.
    The label has told me they need the files presented in both ksd & nmsv format. I know there's been previous post regards this, I'm just wondering (out of sheer desperation!) if there's any way to convert to ksd - before I go & re-install my old version of Massive, and recreate all 64 patches from scratch.

    Welcome =)

    Not unless you or a friend own Kore. If you have Kore, you could resave all your .nmsv sounds as .ksds

    Thanks for the heads up. That's not an option for me unfortunately, don't own Kore or know anyone :(

    Something to bare in mind for future libraries I make, will keep my old massive installed for the time being & will have to re-install 1.3 for ksd batch converts.
    I've noticed the current industry standard is to present Massive library soundsets in both ksd & nmsv.

    What is the reason for not allowing conversion from nmsv to ksd? ...

    I made the fattest sound in the Massive standalone. I think all my stuff is 32bit plugins and 32 bit sequencer, on a 64 bit CPU. when loading Massive into the Abilton sequencer. I can load the sound. Its saved as NMSV and needs a KSD suffix . its REDICULUS ! Somebody, WHY is it so ? Support, hand me a patch converter . Please. Im supposed to be making music not twiddle with formats .

    Why do you need a ksd version?

    Because I made the sound in Massive standalone version, saved in NMSV. And when I was to load that same sound in the VST plugin in Ableton. the plugin only loads KSD. so I had to manually write down the settings, and redoo the sound. conveniant . no ...

    That means that plugin version is not the same version as standalone. Which means the update wasn't done properly. Update Massive again.

    Yes there is no reason for you to need ksd, you just need the plugin uptodate too. Generally only us Kore refugees need the ksd versions still.
