I am a long time user of Reaktor 5 on Windows XP - no major issues. I recently purchased a new PC with Windows 7 64-bit and installed the 5.6.2 version of Reaktor on it. I have tried everything to get Reaktor to produce audio output, including the fixes suggested on this forum, K-V-R and elsewhere. I'm using the ASIO4ALL driver (as suggested on this forum) and have tried virtually every permutation of driver and device configuration settings. I've tried both the VST and standalone versions of 5.6.2, all to no avail. All my other VSTi's work fine in 64-bit Cubase 6 on this same machine, as well as their standalone (non-VSTi) counterparts - but not Reaktor 5.6.2.

With the ASIO4ALL driver, Reaktor recognizes the system's audio input (as evidenced by multiple bars in the input indicator at the top of the screen), but produces no output. MIDI connections are fine, since I see the MIDI indicators light up upon receipt of MIDI inputs - and, on instruments with output indicators, I can see the audio out bars rise and fall on the instrument's panel itself, just not on the top of the window audio output indicators.

I have tried saving instruments with my MIDI and audio configuration and have exhausted everything I can think of. If my other virtual instruments did not work flawlessly, I would start there.

Any other ideas to help would be greatly appreciated!

Are you loading instruments or ensembles? A recent change modified the behavior.
Instruments no longer generate audio out automatically - they have to be connected to ensemble audio outputs.
