No Cereal Number?

    So I just got my S4 yesterday, and I want to upgrade from Traktor S4 to Traktor 2. When I go to register my hardware, it fails. The only thing I have on the bottom of my S4 is a white barcode sticker with a cereal number like NITKS4 (followed by a 10 digit alphanumeric string).

    Is this the number they're looking for? I've tried it an no combination of that string has worked. (With and without the NITKS4) This is the only number on the bottom of the S4.

    Some help would be greatly appreciated. :D

    I don't recall having to register my 'hardware' when I upgraded?

    All I needed was the Product Key which I received in an email from NI for Traktor 2.

    Can you confirm that you need a Serial number and not a Product Key?
    Have you already got Traktor 2 working and just need to register the hardware?
    (I think hardware registration was automatic for Kontrol S4 via Software Centre)

    Well the S4 comes with Traktor S4. Now with Traktor 2 out, the free upgrade comes when you register your hardware on the NI site, I guess. Traktor 2 works in demo mode..

    Anyone who has upgraded to T2 from the S4, any help? All I want is a valid T2.

    I just got this reply from support:

    "Registering and authorizing the software with the 25-digit serial (5 groups of 5
    numbers) will automatically register the hardware."

    from program you wish to upgrade click on icon next traktor label and a box opens with the existing serial number.
