No connection via USB.

Hey guys. My S4 suddenly has no USB connectivity. My ports are working with other devices and I've rolled back all my updates and checked all my drivers. Any ideas? Praying it's not the hardware.

HP G60 running Windows 7 64bit.

Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Reinstalled the old Traktor S4 software. The USB light is now on instead of flashing but I have zero control over the unit. No button response, no level whatsoever. ?

 

You may be suffering from phantom drivers. Check out the article below to see if you can remove the older S4 drivers so that there's only the latest driver.

Thanks KLH. I found that very useful for other reasons but it didn't solve my S4 issues. Going for a full reinstall if windows at the moment and hopefully that and a fresh install of Traktor and the S4 will sort it.

 

try a new and fresh install

 

Did that first. Had to wipe my drive and reinstall windows. That did the trick. I need a Mac.

 

yes for Traktor use thats the most stable computer

 

Same issue here .. out of the blue there was no USB connection anymore, only a flashing power light on the S4

Tryed everything .. new windows, new software .. no response .. it has to be a driver issue cause windows does not regonize the usb cable but when I plug something else I insantly have a connection
