    According to:

    http://www.nativeinstruments.de/index.php?intelmac_us

Elektrik Piano isn't even on the support list for the Intel-Mac Duos. Is this an oversight?

I hope it's not telling that the only VSTi added to Komplete 3 isn't as well supported as the rest.

I think it's OK, they just don't have a date yet. That press release also says this:

"There is not as yet any detailed release information available for those NI products not listed above. Information regarding these products will be released as soon as it becomes available."

The products that won't have a UB (e.g. Reaktor 4) are listed at the bottom, and Elektrik Piano isn't there...

    Hi all,

    don't panic!

Kontakt 1.x based product will not get Intel Mac support in general. however, we will find a solution for Elektrik Piano later this year.

Will the current battery 2 release work on the new macbook pro before the updates are released?

Im considering getting a new macbook in february but dont want the hassle of waiting months for updates. Not sure if i should just get the powerbook thats out there at the moment and know that all my software will work.

Will the rossetta platform run the software successfully or will it not work at all?

Does the mac only need the universal ability to run the machine at a faster pace? As long as the software works im not bothered if it goes that extra bit faster.

    Cheers,
    Craig

The message here is that it is not a bad idea to delay purchasing a new intel based Mac until all of our precious software has been converted to universal binary. It would not surprise me if it takes as long as a year. Right now everything I have works. If I buy a new Mac, most of everything I have doesn't work.

You could buy a new mac and run XP on it till the software is converted :)

Actually, time is in all of our favors. Typically, the first generation on new computer models is not quite ready for prime time which is usually true of software applications. I would think this will be more true due to the all new combination of Intel processors and a Mac system to use them. My current system, albeit comparitively slow, is working just fine with all of my plugins. I have time to wait. I don't want that sick feeling that comes when rev 2 of a computer irons out all the kinks that I might have been experiencing because I bought rev 1. I'm learning to wait a short while.
