    Hi Guys,

My Maschine has arrived, slightly dodgy build quality with the top metal panel not glued down properly so it keeps stringing up and fouling the top knobs. I will probably glue it down myself but I am having visions of Kore 1 here!

Apart from that annoyance I don't seem to have any patterns supplied with the library, is this normal?

    Cheers

    Andy

patterns are included with the kits, the pattern folder in the browser are for your selfmade patterns.

I think it's a pitty they don't include the library patterns seperately (or even pattern "lanes") because there are some damn good ones.
It also starts to anoy me when i load a library kit there's no possibility to load them without the patterns, and have to delete them manualy every time so my selfmade ones don't get mixed up with the others.

Sorry about the dodgy unit, i would take it/ send it back or at least contact ni support about this, you're sure the box hasn't been opened/ the unit has been used as a demo that hit the ground or something like that?

    Ah, Ok. Sounds intuitive!

Unit looks unused to me, just not glued together well!

    Thanks for the info

I hate having preset patterns load up everytime. Slows down the "flow"

would be great if we could load a kit, scroll through the patterns and load a pattern, scroll through the kits.
It's a way to have those happy accidents happening if you know what i mean..
Maybe a shift load kit = no patterns..

Yep, thats what I love about Guru.

If NI got the software up to the level of Guru this would be an absolutely fantastic product. The tight integration with the controller and the two displays are very good but the software is a little basic at the moment.

I have great hopes for the future though, look how much the Kore software improved.

I honestly do too, but i would be furious if simple features i expect will be in the form of a paid update

And pad 1 doesn't have the full velocity range of the other pads, its going back for a replacement.
