No more double Titles in playlist unless approvement

I would like a function for the browser that no more titles can appear twice in playlists, unless you approve it. Then the function "remove duplicates from playlists" could be omitted.

 

no . it's better to have the choice to add a title as many times as you want and a choice to remove duplicates .

what is the point of having the same title multiple times in the same playlist?
There should be at least one query whether you want that or not - it would be a good compromise

 

I think there's tons of reasons to have a track multiple times in a playlist.

Also: That is how playlists work on every music software i ever used. No need at all to change that common behaviour.

Hell No. Complicating codebase that isnt greatest already.

Playlist aren't 100% set in stone for me, they are blueprint adapted live, so i have same song after song "a" and after song "e" and if i didn't play it after "a" (lets say "song is too good to play it in this moment") i have second good chance to play it later after song e.

- I store the history of what I played as playlists. Sometimes it happens that a track get played twice in a night. Couldn't make an accurate list of that gig without multiple entries of the same track in one playlist.
- I collect tracks that sound very good when mixed together in a playlist (as long as Traktor doesn't offer a "match" function like Rekordbox! ). Tracks can appear multiple times in this list.
- I use playlists to prepare mixtapes. Same track could be the first and the last of a mix. Or I tease a track multiple times in a mix. It's good to have it more than once in the list in this case.
- Also sometimes when i'm working on a mixtape i'm not sure in which direction i'll go. To keep in mind alternatives i need the same track more than once in the list
- Turntabelists often need a tune more than once in a routine. How would you reflect that in a playlist that can't contain multiple instances of the same tune?
