    Hello everyone...
im looking at this package and it interests me quite a bit.

i want to use it to run standard midi files thru it and get a good overall sound really quickly.

i wnat to burn mainly drums + bass as backing tracks for live use. but occasionally with other sounds too.

it seems bandstand can do that pretty well.

BUT! is it really true that i cant route say the drums to one output and the bass to another.

i want to mix these tracks at home and burn a single stereo track for live use. I want to be able to EQ/compress the drums as best as possible before mixing down to a single stereo track to take away with me.

    is anyone else doing this?

or do you need to call up different instances of bandstand to do that. seems like defeating the purpose a little but i guess it can be done.

is it a CPU hog this thing?

    thanks
    D

    yes. youre correct.

I am hoping this aspect will be changed too in a newer version.

I fail to understand why NI dont put more effort into this product category. It could be a real winner.
