no NI USB audio device connencted (OS X)

Hi,

recently I have problems with my Kore (hardarwe controller 1st Generation). I am on OS X (one comp 10.4.11 PPC and the other UB 10.5.6). The hardware is not recognized any more, as I see in the system preferences. In the system profiler I see the USB is there:

Installing the NI USB driver 2.2.15 again did not help, also loading NIUSBaudiodriver.kext via terminal give no success.

I still can see little light on the display.
What can I check further ?
Is this a hardware problem ?

It sounds that way to me. I've moved it to the installation/activation forum just in case Marius has some idea that I don't.

Thanks ew, I got an RA number last week and I sent the Kore 1 to NI. Today I got the message that "some hardware" has to be replaced.
