Instrument is visible in kontakt library tab but when I click on instrument no nki files come into view.
I have been installing libraries for years and have had this happen only twice recently. The library is in the Library Tab listings.
Normally when you click on the bottom where it says instrument the available files come into view. On two of my libraries when I click it moves a space but no files are visible. I can access them using open file container. They show up in Native access in the proper location.

That sounds like when you pointed to the folder where the library is in Native Access, you didn't point to the folder that contains the .nicnt file. Try relocating the library to the proper folder that contains the .nicnt file.

I am having the same issue. However, my paths in Native Access are good.

I just tried unistalling and reinstalling 1, I used Alicia's Keys to test it. Now whenever I open Kontakt, all I can see are the instruments folders except for Alica's Keys.nki. In my Native Access all are pointed to V:/Komplete Libraries

Any suggestions? I tried the "Relocate All" tab but that doesn't work.

You need to check if in exactly those folders listed is the .nicnt file. It looks like for SSP and R&H it's not.

Thank you for responding. Here is a screenshot of a library that only shows the instruments folder and Alicia's Keys that shows the .nki file in my Kontakt.

Yep so you should relocate the libraries that show you "Browse" instead of "Instruments" in the Libraries tab, so that you select the overarching folder that contains the .nicnt file, NOT the Instruments folder inside.

I understand what you are saying, however I don't exactly know how to achieve it...would you mind assinting?

If I press the relocate all button in Native Access it shows me the dialog in the attachment. I've also attached as much as possible information that can help you understand my situation. Thanks in advance!

Yes, so you can see in the Content Path there (3rd and 4th screenshot you sent), the path is using / instead of \ as folder separators.

The easiest way of sorting this out would be through editing the registry. Press Win key, type regedit, then run registry editor. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Native Instruments, and then in each subfolder there that belongs to a particular library, you will see ContentDir. Double click it and fix the path so that / becomes \, rinse and repeat for all libraries.

Okay, thank you! Before I do so, I want to make sure I don't break anything on my Mac OS...because I use the same external SSD to host my Komplete Ultimate Libraries for both my Mac OS and Windows 8.1 (Through Parallels VM). I mainly use the virtual windows machine to open my older FL Studio projects

You won't do anything to your macOS by editing registry in a VM, it's inconsequential to macOS.

Thanks, EvilDragon, I had exactly the same issue as sytrusze after I moved my libraries to an external SSD drive. So I used the registry edit that you recommended for just one of the libraries, and it now shows 'instruments' instead of 'browse' in the library view in Kontakt. So thanks for that. Now I have to do that registry change for all of my other content.

Just one question, since the only thing I did was to use the repair option of Native Access to point to the right place, is the registry problem a bug in Native Access? Or perhaps I made some other mistake in moving the libraries? It's not the first time I've moved my libraries, but it's the first time I ran into this problem. Thanks.

It is a bug in NA when you use Relocate All feature. IIRC if you just use individual Relocate button, it works fine.

You can also relocate libraries within Kontakt as well - once Kontakt doesn't find the .nicnt file, it will show Locate instead of Instruments in the Libraries tab.

OK, that helps. I used Relocate All. Many thanks. I did all the changes in REGEDIT, and now it seems to be fine.

Thank you for posting this. It worked. Had to fix nearly ALL libraries, what nasty bug, and no info or warning sent out.
