Since contacting the webmaster & contact by phone is useless, the least NI could do,is to have a category on this forum for tech support.

Neither my serial number, nor my coupon code works on this website and my computer cannot read the Service Center download files....that being said,it's impossible for me to access my free software that's supposed to be included with my Audio Kontrol 1 unit.

How can you people stay in business operating this way? What purpose do you people serve?

    Joe,

Thanks for the reply. You'll have to forgive my ignorance, but just what is submitting a "ticket" all about?

    no problem :)

It would put your issue into NI support system so they can track it and you will be more likely to get a response through their support system than just posting on the forums.

since you're a paying customer you have access to their support system, it's like a help desk or help ticket system

Earlier yesterday,I had phoned NI and I was told that it was busy(which I expected),but they did not give me the option of being put on hold at that time of day,for some reason...which I had thought was ludicrous.
However though I called later in the day and I was put on hold for 20 minutes before I had spoken to someone.
I was on the phone a total of 40 minutes which is a toll call-which really sucked, but at least the support was really helpful.
As it turned out,the customer support is top notch...that is,when you finally receive it.:S

Thanks for the replies Joe-much appreciated.

Some advice: Skype is your friend. I would never call regular toll long-distance anymore. Get Skype on your PC (also need a headset/mic/headphones) which costs pennies per minute!
