Just received Guitar Rig Mobile, installed all the software, got the the page to enter the serial number and found that there's no serial numbers printed on the installation DVD. Great. :|
No response from Registration Support except for some auto-email because it's the weekend. Great. :(
No chance of me playing my guitar through my new toy. Great.

Really Native Instruments. Serial Numbers are basic. Get you act together.

I read in another posting that you can login to your account and you should be able to find it there...good luck... I am stuck, too, in that my Service Centre does not work and I can't activate my GTR 4 that I just bought & downloaded ! Same comment - great....!@$#

I saw that post too. No luck for me though because I have the dvd version and not the download so there's no registered serial numbers to be had yet. I can't believe the number of problems that are reported here. Makes me wonder what I've bought and if I should just send it back.
Just waiting for someone to tell me to phone the helpdesk in Berlin or something. From scotland that's not going to happen, especially when someone kindly invented email so people could get prompt replies to their questions. All I want is the three serial numbers that should have been in the box but having read some of the other posts here it looks like it'll be a while before that happens.

It's pathetic really. Tempted to write to all the guitar mags that gave this bunch good reviews and tell them to maybe have a second look.

Didn't you get a little piece of paper in the box (it is separate from all the manuals and things) with the serial number printed on it, or is it anywhere on the back of the box? With NI stuff that I got a couple years ago you used to get slips with the serial codes on them, not sure if this is the case now though...

No slips of paper or anything even close to a slip of paper in the box. Been in touch with the supplier and apparently the other 3 they had in stock have suffered the same fate. Currently waiting on NI to issue new serial numbers...

Phew, I'm glad I found this thread -- I thought I was going crazy.

I just received Guitar Rig Mobile in the mail, but the installation DVD sleeve also didn't have any serial numbers. (And I searched the package thoroughly.)

The irony is, I bought GRM from NI's *own web shop*... So what should I do to get the serial numbers for Guitar Rig 4 Essential, Kore Soundpack Pop Drums, and Kore Player? File a support request to NI?

Dammit, I was going to take GRM to band practice next week, but I guess I'll have to rip out my Saffire and use it with Logic Pro if I don't get this solved in days rather than weeks or months. This really sucks, I should be able to get the serial numbers online because they have a record of my purchase!

    Welcome to the club!

Send an email to Registration Support (should be one of the options in the service centre. If you install the guitar rig software an click activate you'll eventually see a screen which has "Support" in the top right corner. Choose Registration Support and go from there). They asked for the barcode number from the package because this is what generates the serial numbers (probably begins 5172 but send a list of all of them if you find any other barcodes) so I'd send that with the description of the problem. Then sit back, put your feet up and wait. And wait. And wait.

No doubt NI will give us free upgrades in compensation for the stupidity of whoever's responsibility this problem is.

Good luck. You have my sympathy.

Success! Finally got the numbers and got the thing up and running.

Good luck to anyone still stuck here.

OK, I've filed a request to Registration Support through the NI web pages. I got a ticket number (found it only today, as Gmail had filed it under Junk...), fingers crossed.

The Guitar Rig Mobile I/O interface works nicely, and I can of course try out Guitar Rig 4 in demo mode, but I would still like those serial numbers. After all, I paid for them already. Maybe I'll use GarageBand 09 until then, since MainStage 2 gives me terrible CPU spikes on my MacBook.

Nice to hear you got yours; how long did it take from discovery to resolution?

    (Slightly off-topic rant follows.)

You know, I wouldn't hold my breath while waiting for NI to issue any free upgrades because of this. Late December last year I asked support why a coupon code I got from them was rejected by the NI web shop. After about three months (!) I got a reply saying that they had issues moving to another support system, and because my query was so old they decided to ignore it. Well, the coupon *had* expired three months ago, so in a sense they were right... Classic. Maybe I'll write them about it in June, try to be nice, and ask for a new coupon. :)

OK, I've now also received my missing serial numbers, all three of them. I got them by e-mail from NI support this afternoon. That was pretty fast, after all.

There was an apology but no coupons or refunds. Not that I expected any. Hopefully the faulty batch wasn't big.

Now, let's play! Have a good May Day, everyone!
