Alright, I have searched far and wide and I have not found anything to solve this.

I bought the Maschine Mikro a week ago and I have not been able to use it.

    Laptop:
    -HP DV7-1285DX
    -6 gigs of ram
-Intel Core Duo P8600 running @ 2.40 GHz.
    -Window 7 64 Bit

I updated all the drivers on my computer and then proceeded to install the NI software. I followed all the instructions (installed Komplete Elements as well) and even restarted the computer at the end of the process. I activated everything in the service center. I also downloaded ASIO4ALL.

Finally, I would be able to start making some beats.. Well, I was shot down quickly.

I open up the program (with the mikro previousl plugged in, of course) and everything runs perfect....Except, I don't hear any sound. AT ALL. I started looking around online and I couldn't find anything. A lot of posts just kept talking about messing around with the settings on the Maschine software. I did that, and it didn't work. I started messing around with the settings on my computer. That didn't work either. I've been messing with the inputs the ouputs.. and I still have not gotten anywhere.. I tried opening it in the 32 bit and 64 bit modes and nothing.. I also worked with LatencyMon to see if my computer would be messing with the software... and it runs well.

Am I supposed to buy a sound card? Do I need to get an interface? Someone please help me.. it's painful to have the Mikro and not be able to mess around with it.

I would take ASIO4ALL out of the picture, why do you need this?

Just open Maschine, select your soundcard from the audio setup menu.

Select asio4all as your soundcard. Open the asio4all settings panel. Ensure your output channels are selected and don't have a big red cross next to them.

I don't have an external sound card on my computer. It's the stock WASAPI and it doesn't work either way.

I just bought Maschine (not Mikro) today and I had exactly the same problem.
First of all, ASIO4ALL is a great ASIO driver, but you should check if your sound card has its own ASIO driver before using that. Even so, that shouldn't be the problem.

What MY resolution turned out to be was simply connecting Maschine to a different USB port. The original port works, but for some reason Maschine just didn't 'like' it. Hopefully, if you haven't resolved your issue yet, that will work for you!
