hey lads, got a little problem here:
i have traktor pro 2 installed and i control it with the pioneer ddj-t1. i just bought maschine and want to use them together in my live sets. the problem is that i get no sound out of my maschine through my headphones connected to the ddj-t1.

when i open up maschine audio settings it discovers the pioneer ddj-t1 as a device. the output routings are the same as traktor (channels 1-4).

    what am i doing wrong?

when i change the device in the maschine audio settings to bulit in, i can hear sounds from my mac's internal soundcard so it's probably a misconfiguration with the maschine and pioneer ddjt1.

    any solution?

did you switch the Outputs On in Maschine's Audio Preferences?

maybe try setting up an Aggregate Device by using your Mac's Audio MIDI Setup Utility - in your Utilities Folder. in that Aggregate device choose the Pioneer ddj-t1 as the INputs and Outputs and you can also name it Pioneer - or whatever. then you should be able to choose the Aggregate Device in Maschine's Audio Preferences.

change the outputs to on on the midi section of maschine?
but it's midi.... i don't want to sync them right now, only to use the soundcard of the pioneer ddjt1 for maschine.

anyway, i've tried to turn on the outputs named "pioneer ddjt1" on maschine settings and still got nothing.
i've also tried to connect another controller (otus) and also got nothing so it's not the controller's problem.

    any other idea?

not sure why you are talking about MIDI when i thought you were talking about Audio... i agree my previous description was confusing.

can you do some screen shots like this:

    Picture 15.png

and my suggestion about creating an Aggregate Device is about selecting the Pioneers Audio Outputs as Outputs in the Aggregate Device. do you understand what i mean by an Aggregate Device?

    I was talking about audio.
My settings are excatly as yours, respectivly for my device, meaning that in the audio tab the device says pioneer ddjt1 and in the routing tab i have maschine assigned to the pio's channels 1-4.

Didn't understand about the aggregate device and why i need it. Or more confusing: why i the pioneer ddjt1 doesn't work with maschine right out of the box?

i would suggest you get in touch with tech support.

also check that you have the latest Driver for the Pioneer.

i would also suggest you try to load Maschine in 32 bit Mode. please Control Click on your Maschine Icon and choose Get Info. you chould see a samll box about loading Maschine in 32 bit Mode, tick it and then launch Maschine

some other users have found using an Aggregate Device solves their Audio Device problem. please look in your Utility Folder and look at the Audio MIDI Setup application choose Audio Setup and try to set up an Aggregate Device and choose your Pioneer. there are tutorials on the Internet but if you need help, ask here.

Finally someone with the same problem as me, i just bought a midi to rca cable to see if i can plug it in the back of the ddj t1's line in. I'm quit happy to sacrifice a channel, i know the tractor s4 is capable of doing this.

How is this done on the ddj t1? I can set it up just with the midi clock, but you can't monitor the sound or use any of tractors effects on it....HELP US!
