No sound

Hey I'm new to the DJ world but not to music, so i figured i would try the free Kore player before dropping a lot of money. Only problem is the player shows that sound is playing and im running through my Audio 2 DJ but still have no sound. Do i need a midi to play the sounds. I have the Kontrol X1 as well.

Hi StillYetUnKnown, I think I've figured out the problem for myself at least...

Even as a standalone player, it still needs a MIDI input. I didn't have a MIDI controller keyboard and was thinking that the Kore Player would have Musical Typing mode like in garageband, where you use your keys as a keyboard, but I suppose it doesn't. But now I'm using it in GB, with musical typing (thinking of getting the Akai MPK mini soon though) and it works a treat.

FL problems

It dosenrt show up in my FruityLoops program, also it plays with no sound standing alone simular to your problem. I to dont have a midi keyboard, think I might need one. Ill be reading further messages and contributting to help solve this problem of ours,...keep the music.

I've sorted out the problem, and am now using KorePayer fine in Garageband. If either of you are also mac users and want some help from an amateur like myself then I'm most glad to be of service...
