I have recently changed MacBooks and since then battery and massive will not work, or at least work as intended.

So the issue was that massive had no sounds anymore and that battery would not show the kits in the in the 'kits' tab. I had to find them in the 'file' tab. I have opened each program on it's own (not within Logic) and checked library installation paths and rescanned each but still the same issue persists.

I have completely deleted all content/files/folders of both products and tried a fresh install but still no luck. Same problems persist.

Not sure what is wrong with massive as i can't even manually find the sounds within my mac even after 2 fresh installs. I can obviously find the battery kits but i think somewhere the installation process is getting twisted so it is not saving in the correct place.

I know the 'no sounds' issue is a common one on Massive and Battery and a rescan of each usually solves this but this time i am truly stumped.

    Any info would be appreciative.

I'm on windows. I don't know if i can help.

But have you tried to uninstall like this; https://support.native-instruments....Software-and-Drivers-from-a-Mac-OS-X-Computer
    Before you re-install?

I presume you have installed everything on your new MAC - not just moved from one computer to another, and that you have installed on default paths.

Be aware that factory presets and user presets are not stored on the same path.

Yes that is the article i used for the full installs.

No i transferred from one mac to another. i did think that may be the issue but a fresh install should have fixed that right?

Like i said i think the battery 4 problem is literally a path problem as i do have the kits. The massive issue is beyond me as i can't even find the sounds after 2 fresh installs.

I'm not a technician. So can't tell. Things can be messed up somehow.
But factory content i would re-install on a new computer to be sure the paths are in the registry, when they are needed. I believe it can make a difference.

But you say other applications even if they are not installed? I wonder how. Or are the applications installed but not the sounds?

You can try to start all over. Or you can ask NI support telling them excactly how you have installed everything.
