I have had a couple of tickets generated for my Kore 2 controller's screen being completely red. There is no way to control it via the controller as I have only had it a couple of weeks and don't know my way around it yet. I also use Maschine and just bought Komplete 7 with Kore 2. Surely the controller hasn't broken this quickly?

I have read other people having problems with their controllers in the same fashion but haven't seen resolutions to theses problmes.

I'm running Mac OSX 10.5.8 on an Intel Dual Core 2.4 ghz iMac. This is largely irrelevant though as the controller was working perfectly and then on startup one day it was painted ed all over the screen. If I unplug the USB whilst on there is a brief glimpse of the Kore logo that flashes for about a millisecond.

I have uninstalled the software and hardware several times now with no effect (have uninstalled all hidden files too). The only thing I may think may have happened is that I downloaded the Mouth software from the NI site but I really can't see why this would have affected it.

All the relevant updates had been added well before I had the problems.

I live in the UK so if I need a new controller how long would this take?

I have had found NI products to be terrific before this so please don't colour my experience bad, guys. I have only ben using NI for about 6 months now and was hoping you would be my lifeline to a more creative musical future.

    Somebody please help!

In the program itself you can control the brightness of the screen, seems like its in the options or something like that it may help your problem.

    Afraid not...

The brightness settings (and contrast) do affect the brightness of the display screen certainly, but there is no text on the screen whatever you do. It is pure red.

There is also no way to adjust touch sensitivity or smoothing in the preferences pane (on my iMac) since the problem started.

I've gone through all the options I know - there is just no way of viewing anything on the screen on the hardware.

Appreciate the reply but I need more help please.

ALSO, when I come to look at it closely (the display on the hardware that is) it does appear that the red screen is awash with black pixels overlaying the red backlight as if all the black pixels are turned ON!

Does this help the explanation in any way?

I still feel it is knackered.

Just downloaded 3 soundpacks from NI which were kind enough to be given to me free but I would still like to use the hardware with them!

    HELP!
