So, I am not getting any visual feedback when I pick something out of Maschine samples (where the bulk of the drums etc come from)

The CPU meter on the software does not register at all (the bit that redlines, top right) and on Maschine itself, nothing is registering. have tried adjusting volume on Windows and Mashine. No difference. I can hear the sample itself, but nothing on the visual meter.

If I go to instruments and pick Massive etc, then i get the visual feedback again.

Does anyone know what is wrong here?

I note that if I press CUE on Maschine Studio (instead of MST) at the visual meter, then it registers on the visual meter then with the samples... but everything else does not. I have an expansion pack, and those samples do not register either on the meter...

Seems strange, does anyone know what the problem is?

    Thanks.

edit: if I come out of BROWSE (brings you to the sound screen) then the meter works then. Press browse again, doesn't work again.

Also if I disengage PREHEAR, the meter works... is that the problem? PREHEAR isn't supposed to be on?

This is expected. The meter is for showing audio signals that are going through the master channel. Auditioning, cueing, and monitoring do not use this signal path, they bypass it and go directly to the external output selected for cue.
