    Hi,
unfortunately the support team of NI could not be contacted right now and I have not found a solution online.

I experience weird clipping on some loud chords with Noire that I bought recently. The weird thing is that none of my tracks are clipping, (see the picture attached). I tried to reduce master volume of Kontakt and my DAW but it did not make any difference. Also clipping is not always occurring on the loud chords. Only on some of them. I have listened to the individual notes of the chord that is clipping and they all sound fine separately. I will share a file so you could hear the clipping. It is not on all chords and it is not really harsh. But it is there.

between 0:02 and 0:03 second there is a problematic chord.

this is the exact same performance but I have cut it shorter. Listen to the second chord.

It is quiet but it is definitely there. You may want to listen in headphones.

Does anybody know what causes the problem and how to solve it? View attachment 91507

I have had clipping complaints from clients on tracks where i use Noire. I can only hear it when they notice it. Too bad because I love the instrument.

    Just you so far.
At the link you have provided. There is a global pandemic on at the moment, might have some bearing on the situation

Hey. I found a cause of the problem! For some reason if TRANSIENT (under FX) is on the piano is clipping. More bass and sustain more clipping, even if you meters in Kontakt are really low and you have 15db of headroom. Just turn the TRANSIENT off and everything sound fine again! Untitled.png

Makes sense since that's a transient designer effect - enhancing attacks or rounding them out, or emphasizing sustain portion of the sound, etc.
