I have recently acquired Noire, and love the sound. I am encountering some popping and clicking at random times, and I can force it to happen if playing a gliss from the bottom of the keyboard to the top and back while sustained. when I release the sus pedal, a loud click. The fewer cores I enable, the more it occurs, so I have it set the the max which is 4 cores on my intel NUC7i5bmk. Is there something I can disable/adjust to make it work cleanly? Seems to happen if the cpu goes above 50%, on average The CPU is only hitting 20%. The buffer setting doesn't seem to affect it any. I am using 3rd party software eeg strawberry , and scarbee ep88s with no popping/clicking. this is the only vst giving me trouble on my current setup. Thx for any advice!

You could try reducing the max polyphony.

Thx E D! I couldn't find that parameter, then I remembered it is only available when the "i" is chosen. Reducing is def helping!!

I have the same issues with noire in ableton. My setup is a MacBook Pro 2016 i7 with 16 gb RAM. I use a scarlett 2nd gen audio interface. I also have this random cracking sounds with even with CPU of under 30%. So can you explain how did you fixed it in detail? Thanks

your system specs are higher than mine, but reducing polyphony might help you also. I think (I don't have access to that computer right now) that the default polyphony, or voices #, is 256. on the noire tab, next to the camera icon is an "i" icon. click on that. just underneath is a voices number that you can change. try it on 128 instead of 256. you might be able to go higher than that , but 128 worked for me. This absolutely seems to be a real problem in the plugin not considering polyphony. It occurs even when opening a new Logic project and recording a single track with only triads played. I have a 2020 Imac with 32gb ram running Logic pro. It would be great to hear from NI about this.

There's a known issue with Replika delay being bypassed actually resulting in more clicks and pops. Is this the case over there?

If I understand it right, does it mean that it would be better to activate the replika delay in the plug-in instead of turning it off? Or what do you mean by bypassing in this case? Currently I have this settings and still some crackling from time to time.[IMG]
