    I'm a Newbie...Please be gentle with me...

when creating "analogue" synths I seem to get a lot of aliasing at the upper frequency ranges, especially when using pulse or square wave forms.

I generally use a sample rate of 44.1Khz, which I thought would be good enough.

I have to change the sample rate way up to get a decent clean sound, but that doubles/tripples my CPU usage!!

    Any way round this?

I have tried keeping the output levels of VCO's/VCF's down, and have attempted to use static LF filters at 16Khz to prevent any stray HF noise...all to no avail.

    P4 2Ghz
    1Gb DDR333 RAM
Creamware Pulsar (also running at 44.1Khz)

PS. Native... Please, please give us "patch point I/O's to panel" (I HATE Matrix Patching, I want a screen full of patch leads)
