Not authorised to download the product

    Hi.
    yesterday I bought the Komplete 10 Ultimate update and registered it. Also downloaded and installed all the updates so far. I'm trying to download the Rounds and Kontour but every time this ends with en error message: "You are not authorized to download the product"
    Yes, I've made the support ticket but haven't heard anything from support yet so I was wondering if anyone else has had similar problem and perhaps had solution for this problem.

    If Support a busy it may take a few days to respond. Patience, please.

    Sounds like A browser problem. I've just downloaded them both from this page:
    Meanwhile, start exploring the sounds libraries that you already have. NI will reply before you've finished.

    Thanks for the help, although it didn't solve my problem. I downloaded and installed Komplete Kontrol software and ran it as stand alone first. I then tried to download the installer again. The end result was the same. Safari or Firefox, no difference. I doubt that the problem is the web browser, as the installer program runs just fine, untill the moment it should give me the file to download when it fails :-(
    Plenty of other stuff to try of course :)

    Confused here, I read your post to mean that the downloads of the installers were failing.

    DO you mean that when the installers are run ,they download more files? I did not know that. (I did not run them.)

    Maybe you need to be logged in to your NI Account?

    Yeah, I've tried that too, nothing helps. I can't download "Rounds" or "Kontour" as the installer will just say that I'm not authorised to do that. I can see my email address and "online" in the box, but I can't just download the necessary files :-(
    Hopefully the NI Support will get in touch soon.

    Perhaps it's that the profile you signed on your computer is not authorized to make those kind of downloads? It's a long shot, but I'm just throwing out ideas.

    I'm on my admin account so this should not be a problem but thanks for the idea, will have to make sure that some weird security option has not been abled. Still waiting to hear from NI support.

    Well then if you can't figure out you'll have to wait about five days, before you get a reply.

    OP, it is not clear from your posts: Have you already received the "IMPORTANT: Downloads for ROUNDS, KONTOUR, KOMPLETE KONTROL" email from Native Instruments, which NI sends you within a couple days of registering Komplete?

    I now received an answer form the support. Turned out to be password that had characters that were not allowed. Of course, I think that the form that you fill your password, should be intelligent enough, not to let you create too difficult passwords. But I'm fine now. Downloaded and installed Rounds and Kontour. Thank you all who for helping me :)

    Thanks for your update… I just encountered the same problem trying to download 'Rounds'. So I changed my NI account password and that fixed the problem. Seems like a glitch to me because my old password worked fine to authorise the rest of Komplete 10.
    Anyway, solved!
