I'm trying to install my Komplete Ultimate bundle, but for most plug-ins it tells me I don't have enough space.

I have consulted this article and followed the instructions:

    https://support.native-instruments....gest=3e99795eaab8ea36ea1c0838e48dae1d7fdec18f

But I am STILL having the same error message pop up. I went into my Native Access preferences and set the Download, Application, and Content locations as separate folders all on my external hard drive and still no luck.

PLEASE HELP, I am very frustrated by this. I have tried calling customer service and could not reach them. Native Instruments is by far the biggest pain in the ass company I have dealt with when it comes with software..

Had the same issue it didn't installed the Libarys where I set it in native access but I had enough space on c so had to move the librarys later to d where I want them to be. And I have to do it again on my desktop computer where I only have a small ssd for Windows so will run in the same problem.

Also, fyi, install one thing at a time, not the whole collection.

The 120GB SSD, won't do it for me, I have tried it, I switched back... Here's what I have: 1TB HDD C = for DAWS and NI Access),.. 1TB HDD E = NI library and other sounds),.. 1TB HDD D = for games only).. Not to mention I also use external HDDs for my songs sometimes as well.

I have only windows on the ssd and some small programs, on d, first partition of the 1tb hdd are all music programs and libarys. The old 500 gig hdd is just an games/ installer backup medium and general backup medium. Then I have an additional 1tb external drive also for backup my drives with a special backup program.

    PROBLEM SOLVED!

My external hard drive is 1TB.. plenty of room. The issue is that I mysteriously had only 9GB of available storage on my Macbook Pro. I'm not sure why that was but 98% of my memory was taken up by the system. Apparently NativeAccess needs to "temporarily" use up space on my computer's harddrive to install on my external. Basically had to clean my disc utility completely and start fresh. Everything is good to go now!

I am having the same issue, I changed drives as instructed but no luck.
I have 800GB of space available on that drive, plus I have installed most of it, it just won't install the biggest files.

Any one could help would be nice.

    Thanks

Be sure to empty trash; try moving stuff out of your download folder to another drive; and only install one large item at a time, as the system needs to write a temp iso file, then uncompress it, then install it. So, a 10GB file might need 20GB of space; and if installing on startup drive, you would then need 30GB of space potentially for a 10GB library. That might already be obvious, but just reminder on how that works. If you're on Windows you can change download location this way: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/74949-move-location-downloads-folder-windows-10-a.html

Sorry if that is not helpful, but had to do that on my Windows 10 box which has 1TB main drive, and 2TB sample/audio drive.

For my Macs, the 500GB SSD works, with all the libs installed on external RAID 1+0 ('raid 10') system.

Actually installing the Komplete 12 Ultimate upgrade right now ... hence watching the clock, and paint dry ;-)

I have enough space on the startup disc and the other disc where I have the sound banks.

I just manage to download one of the library’s , it’s 19GB, once this finish I will try to download the remaining.

    I keep posted.

And after installing please check where the Libarys really are - like I said in my case they where installed on my system drive no matter what I set in access.

    Ok, I found a solution.

Once I have installed the majority of the files individually I notice that none of the big files (+20GB) where installing.

With all this info I figure the computer Cache must be full, because I do have enough space on my disks.

I used an App called CleanMyMac 3, and he basically removed 600GB stuck on my computer cache and non useful files.
I restarted my Mac after this huge clean
guess what happens next?!?, I press install “All” and he just started to install all the remaining huge files no problem.

I hope his helps for you guys!

PS: Native Instruments, your costumer support SUCKS!!!

Installation requires almost double the actual space because there needs to be enough room for both the download and then the installation of the download. The actual download gets deleted when you're done. Even after setting the "Download" and "Content" locations to an external disk with ample space, I still got the error message about my internal drive being too small. But then it installed to the external properly. The error message seems to be a bug but the installation goes forward.

Having the same problem installing Komplete 12 Collector's Edition, Native Access keeps telling me I need 22GB more space on Macintosh hard drive just to install Thrill which is 30GB library. I have cleared space on Macintosh hard drive and there is 364GB available, there is really not much else I can remove and I have emptied cache, also tried other drives with even more space and still a no go. Any other suggestions out there as to what I might do to load the remaining libraries?

I cleared cache and emptied trash, still no go. I am on a Mac Pro(2013) with 4bay thunderbolt drive full of SSDs, with more than enough space to accommodate this data, not to mention again the 364GB I freed up on my internal 500GB flash drive. It never fails every Komplete(since version 2) update I've done required tech support intervention, which is BS! I just tried to install Session Strings Pro 2 205MB install and Native Access tells me I need to free 30GB more! Also no matter what drive I select in the preferences, it's still wanting more free space on the Macintosh HD.

The procedure I used to finally get the content to start loading again was to go into Users/Library/Preferences and erase the Native Access plist preferences.

NI should really clean this up. I have a brand new Macbook Pro. 6 Cores. 2TB. Tells me the same thing. Not enough space. This is BS. Get it together NI. At your prices fix install issues please --
