I am having an issue getting any sound output from guitar combo. My computer recognizes the iAxe 393, and even the sound bars on the guitar combo software go up an down when I am playing. But for some reason it won't output to my computer speakers. Any ideas?

Also, I can't find any information on how to update to 1.1.1. I thought I downloaded the newest version from your website this morning. I don't even see an "update" button.....

Plug your headphones into the guitar!

I can only use headphones with my guitar when it's hooked up to the computer? Oh well, I thought yopu could use your computer speakers........ Now I need to figure out how to get the headphone output form the guitar to the input for my sound card.

I had to go out and buy a 1/8" to 1/4" converter for my headphones to plug into the guitar. And when I do plug them in all I hear is loud bussing.

Any ideas on how to update the Guitar Combo software to 1.1.1 ?

Sorry for all the questions but I'm a newbie!

To hear the output of Guitar Combos, you must plug into the guitar.
Do you have "Service Center" on your computer? If so, run it and it will update you.

Thanks for the input about 'service center' I am downloading it now.

Any input on why i am getting such a loud buzzing with my headphones? I can't even hear any notes that I play over the buzzing.

Update: OK, downloaded an installed service center but it doesn't recognize Guitar COmbo 3 on my computer let alone let me update it.

No, can't find the GC 1.1.1 download. The 'pick a product' dropdown doesn't go anywhere, and there isn't a download listed in the uprotected updates section.

The GC combo you have is the Behringer edition and it looks like the copy you have is the latest one (there isn't a 1.1.1 update for Behringer) if my memory is correct.

As for the buzzing; you have a single coil guitar. I think it's going to buzz no matter what you do to it and I can not vouch for Behringer quality control; there could be a fault with your wiring inside of the guitar itself.

I was surprised that the iaxe sound cant come out of the speakers. I will be trying a headphone output to my soundcard and will let you know.

Yeah, i am trying to do the same. Let me know if you have any success and let me know. I know it is possible, just have to figure it out. Every video I see of the iAxe online shows someone with the output coming out of the computer speakers.

You can get a long cable from the guitar to speakers, but I am sure that you can't do it reliably.
