    Dear Forum

I've recently set up TS pro with x2 vinyl turntables and an external mixer. I have run the calibration and all seems ok in terms of connections. I can even play standard vinyl through the system by flicking to phono on my mixer.

One problem I am having is that my recorder is only seeing a signal on the A deck so B deck is not showing anything.

Can anyone help as the manual isn't very good at all!

    many thanks

    Joe

    Have you:
    a) run leads from monitor or 2nd out on your mixer to spare input of audio8
    b) set the recording to that spare input in preferences?

Many thanks - that's got it working!

So what's the difference between internal and external - is the audio 8 not internal?

    Cheers

If you mix internally (ie, in the computer) then you can record the mixed sound internally. If you mix externally then you need to route the sound back into the computer to record. The computer wouldn't know what the mixed sound was otherwise.
