    Hi All,

I am working on a chord arpeggiator with gated sequencers for each note played (up to four). The trick is once I pull out each note in the chord (using From Voice) I want to sort the notes so the lowest goes to sequencer one, the second to sequencer two, etc...

I have tried digging into to both Godel and arp in Koyaanisqati, but those seem geared toward spitting out one note at a time and I need all four notes (almost) simultaniously. I know it would involve event tables, but the event order gets pretty complex and at this point my brain hurts.

Does anyone have a macro or whatnot that can do this? Or even just some help...

are you on R5? if so, the channel message module is nice - it takes a polyphonic midi note stream, and outputs it as a seriel monophonic stream, which is how midi really works anyways. this may help things, just send the notes to voices, no need to extract them from the voices. with this module, you could probably even make your own polyphony system.

Thansk for the suggestion, but I finally figured out how to cannibalize the functionality from Godel. Once I work out a few kinks I will be posting to the library soon.

I think I have got it working pretty well:

I am still having a problem where it will randomly mess up in how it is ordering and counting the voices resulting in one channel having the sum of two pitches. But wierd things trigger the behavior like changing a snap in the attached Junatik or changing the sample rate and when I reload the .ens, it goes away. If I don't touch anything but the knobs and the gates, everything works fine...

I wasn't seeing the problem in godel, so I think it's something with my structure. Any help would be much appreciated
