waste your mac, buy a superlappy pc, and don't bother you with eyecandy, and "design" (if the real design is a computer case...! ;) ). :p

....I joke, but I don't know if there is a mac variant of this, try google it brother. :)

Great... I never thought about using it for midi controlling :D

I tried toconfigure it but it did not work. Probably someone could help me a little bit.

As written in the Touchpad 2 MIDI PDF I downloaded and configured it but can't get it working.

My Touchpad 2 MIDI Software looks like the one in the PDF. Porbably I misunderstood the settings, so I uploaded some screenshots. Could someone have a look if it is configured correctly?

Caps Lock is on. But nothing happens...

    Thanks for your help!

played a little bit with the settings... settings in traktor weren't OK.

But what is meant with this setting (from the pdf): "Go to devices - Wave and set the latency to the lowest possible value"

I can't find any latency. Is it the Buffer?

Awesome, I'd like to learn how you use this app. I would also be using savihostnk.

A question though, can you use Midi Yoke for the virtual midi cable?

    Step-by-step instruction (Windows XP):
    1. Install the Synaptics touchpad driver (other touchpads won't work)
    2. Install MIDI Yoke virtual midi cable (maple driver don't work for me)
    3. Install SAVIhost app and copy savihost.exe to TOUCHPAD2MIDI directory.
    4. Rename savihost.exe to touchpad2midi.exe
    5. Run touchpad2midi.exe and follow the instructions in the SAVIhost manual
    6. In Traktor select Midi Yoke's virtual channel (that You've selected as MIDI out in SAVIhost) as MIDI in (do not select MIDI output to MIDI Yoke in Traktor)
7.Press CAPS LOCK and use Traktor's MIDI Learn function to assign MIDI messages from your touchpad
P.S. You may also need to configure Touchpad2MIDI to work with any free MIDI channel and send any MIDI messages as you want

    Well I'm having some trouble.

I installed the Synaptics driver. Copied and renamed SVIHost and got TOUCHPAD2MIDI loaded. I'm a little confused on setting up the config. Do I want to set xy pad mode?

But most important, does the Savihost program window alert you with a light or meter when you are actually using it? I press the caps lock key, and from what I understand the pad should stop working as a mouse. Well, nothing changes when I press the Caps Lock.

Yes, set the XY pad mode. Actually I can post screenshot with my config later.
When you press the CAPS LOCK SaviHost turns your touchpad to midi controller and your touchpad stops responding (but you can use external bluetooth or usb mouse), make shure you have Synaptics touchpad and Synaptics tray icon

Yeah, I'm wondering if it's not a Synaptics touchpad on my laptop.

I'd appreciate a screenshot. Thanks for all your help!
