Notes playing by themselves??

    I recently bought a Komplete Kontrol S49.

Weird things are happening though... when the keyboard is left, sometimes notes will play by themselves, as if a ghost is tinkering with the piano. The lights on the keys will flash, and the midi signal will activate in my DAW and notes will play.

It might be some kind of demo mode, so it plays a little while sitting in the shop? I can't find any info on how to turn it off.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks.

(Sorry, I don’t know the answer.)

Do you happen to have any other MIDI device connected?

If notes play and indicate on the keyboard on their own then that's strange if there is no other MIDI happening. Does it happen only within a DAW or can you sometimes see the leds show activity even when a DAW is not open?

What about if you open the standalone app? does it also happen?

There is no demo mode that would show this behaviour

Truly odd.. I experienced this myself for the first time this evening 6/19/21. While in Battery 4 and testing out sample kits, out of nowhere, a few notes began playing [1 or 2] once I had stopped playing. This went on for at least a minute while I watched. No keys were pressed and just a random pattern of the same sample. No mouse movement indicating there wasn't an RDP session or other remote control access. No other apps open, just Battery. I would declare these as stray ghost notes. Once I closed Battery, this issue stopped.
For reference, I am using an Artuia Keylab 61 MK II keyboard via USB (not MIDI). In Battery, the triggered pad is always the same - lowest right corner. This has happened in a variety of kits. It appears as if its a communication / triggering issue. Any ideas would be appreciated.
