Novation Basstation with Maschine Studio.....

Can anyone talk me through set up to use basstation 2 synth in Studio? Getting nowhere with this..... Can use as controller but am getting no sound, or just the one sound from Basstation.........Won't change presets. Know Im doing something wrong audio wise........ So if anyone could talk me through set up it would be much appreciated...... Cheers.

 

Tumbleweed......... Would appreciate someone walking me through this from start, someone who can hold my hand and help me, someone must surely be out there to help? Please help! Please! I am so sad and depressed that nobody has replied to my heartfelt need for assistance, It's been weeks and Ive been crying all the time, smoking 80 fags a day, and destroying a case of cider every 8hrs, I have called the Samaritans and they said they couldn't help because they didnt know what a Basstation 2 was....... Anyone? Is there anyone out there? Help me please...... . I am very sad.

but surely you should be changing presets on the Basstation?

The samaritans really need more training on midi devices. Did you get anywhere with it? I dont have a BassStation but my guess would be,

hook the bass station up, midi and sound,
set a maschine pads midi output to the port thats connected to the basstation
set the same pad (or a different pad) audio input to the audio input the bassstation is connected to,
win!

Im too poor to have a studio but I know the mk1 can do all this from the controller,

Did you set up the correct midi setting in the bass station?

 

The reason I couldn't get any sound from the Basstation has now become clear...... It's kaput! Brand new out if the box...... And it's knackered! I am reframing from using any swear words..... But ####. The volume encoder, along with the power supply input are both completely ###### So no wonder I wasn't getting anywhere...... It still powers up from the USB...... But now has to go back...... If anyone sees the bunny of much happiness please send him round...... Need a chat....... . Cheers for the help guys...
