This, plus smoother audio recording, audio clips, live looping, etc. So we can record live audio and have it play back when we are done instead of having the sampler stop the audio until it loops back around.

I have ways to "fake" my audio clips to work how I like but in general I want better handling of audio recording and playback. Think how ableton live records audio, soon as you stop recording the audio starts playing back, that's what I want, among other things.

Also the ability to address multiple midi outputs individually, and the ability to have multiple audio inputs setup in Maschine for those with synths and turntables or other devices that can send usb via audio but do not want to use that as their audio interface in Maschine.

I would like to see pad layering, pad banks and the ability to trigger/ link pads notes for playing chords from a pad.
Along with this multi-core support to allow you to make use of them.

indeed, even beyond linking pads, I want to see a "chord" option in pad mode, so we can use the pads to play chords :)

To those who would say "that's way overboard for what maschine is intended" I would simply say many felt the same way about vst hosting ;). I'm not saying that needs to happen even in the 2.0 days, but for live shows it would be very cool. If the mv8000 could do it. Why not maschine?

touching on seq/song mode, what about a dual mode? keep the current seq/song, and a linear mode as well. sort of like a toggle. you know how audition has spectral view? well, maschine can have linear view.

Strangely, nobody is interested in REAL scenes?
A scene, that would save all settings including program change?
And next one start fresh and new?
+ number of repeats of a scene, meaning a 1 (or any size) bar loop scene could be repeated X number of times...
Just this feature cures multi core alone

I think I mentioned that through out my posts. except I break out the individual elements of that into separate features. but that would in no way cure multicore....

I think it's been covered in different lists, full midi would include program change options, separate scene tempo mapping would effectively create separate scenes, so yes, we are with ya :)

Improved sequencer, etc, have all been covered too. I think multiple ways of sequencing would be beneficial, being able to set loop repeat along with linear and other options, all good stuff :)

Probably because there is no multicore support. Timestretching can get pretty heavy on cpu usage depending on what algorithms are being used. I'm sure once multicore makes into maschine it will open the doors for a lot of other interesting things as well.
