I know we have swing per sound, but is there a Nudge per sound?

Sometimes due to choppng on one of the pads or you just want 1 pad delayed a little........ would come in handy...

+1 Would love to have a free non-quantized nudge for pads on the groove screen. Similar to the MPC shift timing. That way you don't have to go back and forth and toggle grid on/off to nudge. There is room for it.

There is an option to avoid the hassle of grid toggle.

    1) Load a sound and go in step mode
    2) Make a few steps
    3) select a step by pressing and holding the pad -dont let go
    4) turn the swing knob in the master section
    - now the note will move with small increments outside grid, controlled with a knob.

And while we are at it, press and hold a step and turn volume in the master section and you adjust volume.

A track delay is tracked internally as a feature request.

is it too late to squeeze in nudge per sound into 1.6? Doesnt seem hard to do.

I don't think it's that simple. Beta will only get set back and hard work lost

actually you can already nudge per sound if im reading what youre asking for correctly. ( now forgive me if i get a step wrong as im doing it from memory and im not near my maschine)

you have to hold down the select button then press the soft button for events in the first screen it should turn black. then press the pad of the sound you want to "nudge"
then if you look in your arrange window the pattern corresponding to that pad should be white then you can press shift and the nudge button to move that one sound. hope that helped. i think thats right though..

Jusjaye you are a genius! This works! How come NI didn't know about when they chimed in? wonder if there is a way for them to make it easier to get to, know that we know it exists?

They knew. I think Mads assumed you are wanting an easier way to do it. Nudge is a basic feature in the manual. Same with the event select.

Also, you can use keyboard mode to make edits to the current sound only vs the whole kit. With this method, you can leave normal select on vs events. Use shift + pad mode(keyboard) and pattern event edits like nudge only affect the current sound. If you do not want your nudge to snap to grid, press grid and tap pad 16 to turn grid off. Remember to turn grid back on for other edits if you need it.
