numark mixdeck? and buying the right things?

im thinking on buying the numark mix deck. i want to use it with my laptop but the built in mixer is anolog not midi so what do i need to make traktor read the mixer?
the main thing i need is so i can record my mixes using traktor. the mix deck allows you to record mixes but only with an ipod ( which i dont have ) i already have traktor pro, will i need a different one?

traktor will not read the mixer, ... it will just send audio to the Mixdeck's audio interface. For reording, you'll have to check if the audio interface provides inputs to which you could plug a small cable from the master output and record into Traktor I suppose.

 

would traktor pro kit work? bypass the sound card in the mix deck and use the traktor scratch one? and then would i be able to record through traktor?

 

the mixdeck mixer is completely analog and therefore cant be mapped to any program or midi signal.
