    I'm Chronus, from India.
I just finished reading the 27 pages of this topic, and after this post, I'm going to order the mixdeck.
I was just wondering about a few things:
    1. Why is the NI forum acting as a support forum for Numark? Is it because the MixDeck ships with Traktor, or just that the folks at NI are more friendly, lol?
    2. I am not a DJ, only a lowly common man with a fair amount of interest in music production, and the flair of DJing. My younger brother, however is a budding DJ in India, who mainly uses Pioneer CDJs and mixers. He and I talk (I'm in Afghanistan) about his practice and gigs, and he says he just doesnt understand the software part of it (which I think is weird, given that he is a graphics designer, lol). So I bought him a Hercules RMX for his practice at home, and while I was ordering that on Amazon, I ordered myself a Hercules DJ Control Air, which I have learnt whatever I know on. Amazing product for the price, I must say. But now, I want to learn a bit of DJing without the software, you know in my spare, spare time.(because in my spare time, I will be mixing with Traktor, lol). Is this a good enough reason to buy the MixDeck? I will most probably have ordered it by the time I receive ay replies here, so if it is not, I will stick with my Hercules DJC Air and give this to my brother.
    3. Like I said, i have only been in this hobby for about a month, but I feel like I have seen enough videos and tutorials and read enough forum posts I would need for another month or so, and it is time to as (ellaskins on youtube says) Practice and Enjoy. BTW, have you guys seen ellaskins tutorials on youtube? He has been the main source of whatever little I know. My question here is, am I doing justice to the art, learning this way (I promise I will practice a lot over the next few months, atleast because I really like music, and messing with it, so to speak).

Thanks a lot guys, you have given me immense knowledge, hope, and inspiration (from frost420's videos, where he mixes dubstep which such ease - Will I ever get that good, before I die?).

Signing off, in Punjabi, my native language, "Rab Rakha, veero!"

PS: Another thing, How do you remove the hotcues you've made in Traktor, using Mixdeck Pro?
I know you can do it from Traktor, and you can record over them using mixdeck but I meant if there is a modifier button on Mixdeck to allow you to remove them.
    Thanks.

his tutorials are very good. definitely a good source!
i like the way you're trying to find out stuff before you ask questions (however, some questions will always arise, sooner or later. no problem, we're here to help!). with this attitude you'll make your way! :)

i dont know if that i mapped in mixdeck... however, you could map that yourself on the mixdeck or your keyboard.
