Numark Mixdeck USB issue

So i was playing around with some of the settings in Traktor Pro last night, and i changed the sample rate, just to see what kind of playbacks it could do. When i changed it, traktor pretty much froze up for a minute, and now it wont recognize my mixdeck as the controller. I have tried importing the default settings, and even uninstalling, and reinstalling the whole program, but nothing works.

The Mixdeck still works just fine with CD, and Thumb drive options, but when i change it to USB-MIDI, it wont work. Does anyone know of a way to completely hard reset everything, and make it back to factory settings? any info would help, thanks.

 

I'm having similar issues. I was playing around with the effects and lost control of the software. I went and re-did the Setup Wizard to re-connect Mixdeck and nothing. Now it takes a number of times to get the two working. I'm confused and at this point can;t take this setup to a gig. I've written to Numark. Let's see what they have to say.

 

same thing happened to me.. i used it on a Friday night and then plugged it in on a Saturday night and nothing... just wouldn't communicate wtih the software. I uninstalled the software and reinstalled. Tried setup a few times and nothing. Did you ever find a solution to this? I called Numark and left a message and never heard anything.

 

I still have not been able to use my mixdeck.. anyone out there solve this problem?

 

This has happened to my mixdeck many times but I played around with and it work. You could try
:Using a different USB chord
:Updating the mixdeck firmware
: But for some reason my mixdeck worked after i did those to and reinstall the driver.

yeah got it working. had to resinstall the software and drivers and delete the old files.

 

yeah you have to remmmber to go into 'my docs' folder and just delete your traktor folder when you uninstall, that should get rid of any mapping settings that could have been corrupted, and allow it to reconnect with the setup wizard. Deleting it should help without reinstalling....


a quick questions for you other mixdeck users...do you have track info sent to teh mixdeck display while controlling traktor? I had it work once, on someone elses traktor setup, and it will not work on anything else....any thoughts?
